Buying or selling a home can be a challenging and difficult process, and that’s why everyone should have professional representation, no matter which side of the transaction you’re on. You also want that person to represent only you, and look out for your best interest.
Who would be the best person to represent you? A professional who considers you and treats you like a friend! From our first conversation to the closing of the transaction and beyond, I consider all of my clients my friends, and treat them that way always.
Did you know?
If you're buying a home, you don't pay your Realtor anything! That's right, your Realtor gets paid by the home seller, and only if/when the transaction is complete. So don't get scammed into paying a Realtor to help you buy a home! Luckily, the vast majority of Realtors out there are honest, but I've heard from some of my own clients that before they worked with me, they actually paid a Realtor to work with them, who didn't even end up helping them, so buyer beware!
Does this mean that since your Realtor is actually being paid by the seller, that they work for the seller, and not you the buyer? Absolutely not! Your Realtor should be looking out for your best interest only, and not pressure you into buying any particular home just so they can get a commission sooner. Even though a Real Estate transaction is very complicated and can be overwhelming, you should be comfortable with what you are purchasing; the condition of the home, the neighborhood, your mortgage payments, etc. After all, you will be the one responsible for keeping the payments up and living there, so your opinion is the most important!
